About Us

David is the Co-Founder and former Managing Director of a multi-award-winning renewable energy company in North Wales, where he spent 15 years leading the business and driving the adoption of sustainable technologies. With a career spanning over two decades, David brings a rare combination of hands-on electrical expertise, strategic leadership, and deep sector-specific knowledge to the business.

In recognition of his vision and achievements, David was named Young Business Leader of the Year at the 2018 Insider Business Awards – an accolade that highlights both his entrepreneurial spirit and his lasting contribution to the Welsh renewable energy landscape.

Outside of work, he actively participates in local charity, Denbigh & district Roundtable, where he helps raise £15000+ a year for local good causes. David enjoys playing golf and football and of course family time!

Jonathan Evans is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the renewables sector. A former educator and accomplished sales expert, he now leads sales at Solar North, specializing in integrated renewable projects that combine multiple technologies for maximum efficiency. With his strong background in both teaching and sales, Jonathan is a passionate advocate for sustainable energy and brings clarity and commitment to every project. Outside of work, he is an active member of North Wales Golf Club, a former dedicated rugby player, and enjoys keeping fit at the gym.

Janet Jones has over 20 years of experience in the renewables industry and leads Solar North with a strong passion for reducing carbon emissions. She truly lives the values she promotes—her own home is fully equipped with renewable technologies. Away from work, Janet enjoys time at her caravan in West Wales, caring for her grandchildren, and walking outdoors, drawing on her farming roots and lifelong love of nature.
